Frontierland/Adventureland Rope Drop

Different park, similar question to my Epcot rope drop (getting all my hard ADRs hasn't alleviated my overplanning!).

Hoping to RD MK, going into frontierland to BTMRR and Splash, in that order. My thought was back to Pirates and JC, also in that order.

Will JC be too backed up by the time we get to it? Would a different order be best?

If not using FP I would do JC before pirates.

JC is one of the slower moving queues so it will back up first. Honestly, I have never had a problem entering Adventureland, do JC, POTC, then BTMRR and Splash with minimal waits if one is quick about it. Rememebr that Splash is a nearly 17 minute experience, so that will slow you down.

I hated to hop onto Splash immediately for that reason.

But thank you so much for your perspective - tentatively, it looks like that'll cut down on my waits in my touring plan.

Granted, I don't go at the busiest times, but it seems like that whole half of the park is ignored at rope drop. Everyone goes to 7DMT, or PPF, so either way Fantasyland, and the rest hit Tomorrowland and Space Mountain. You don't see waits creeping up until after the first hour in the Adventureland/Frontierland side. Ideally I'd say you should do BTMRR, JC, POTC, SPLASH, in that order, but that's so much bouncing around and I don't think it makes much difference. Splash is still last because it is so long of a ride that the other things will build up while on it. Also, keep in mind that on POTC and Splash there is sometimes a delay in unloading where the boats pile up. It adds a little time.

We don't have the stamina for a lot of walking so was hoping to do them in order (JC, POTC, Splash Mtn), and then move on clockwise to Haunted Mansion and Fantasyland (then do a Dole Whip and Tiki Birds on the way out). This would be early March. Would I need a FP+ for Splash Mtn or save it for later? I was worried about the wait at Splash if doing that after JC and POTH. It sounds like this should not be a problem.

That's when I'm going! The first full week in March. Hopefully it won't be too crowded.

I do not think the line will build that fast for splash, especially in March when the mornings might be a little cooler than usual. JC and POTC should both be walk-on.

We tried to do that last week and BTMRR was down at rope drop (Splash was already closed for refurb). BTMRR conveniently (suspiciously?) opened right at 930, which was something I had noticed a prior day as well. It was pretty disappointing to walk all the way back there to find the ride not operating. We ended up doing JC (with a 10 minute wait since they were running training boats) and getting back to BTMRR around 940, at which point it was open with a 10 min wait. We then rode twice without much of a wait and then headed to PoTC.

Does anyone have experience with how Early Morning Magic will effect other lands?

I haven't been to MK since they started this. Do people generally stay in Fantasyland, or will this bump up the wait times in Adventureland/Frontierland once the park opens to everyone at 9?

I would do BTMRR, Splash, Jungle Cruise, then Pirates.

We routinely hit Frontierland within the first 30 minutes, and it takes a while for lines to build there, as most rope drop guests head for either Fantasyland or Tomorrowland first. Doing BTMRR, then Splash, without FPs will be absolutely no problem.
