I signed up for the Frontier cc under the 40k bonus points promo in March. Began using the card as soon as I got it and in first month reached the req'd spending of $500 for the bonus. I realize from my experience with the similar SW program that the bonus miles don't appear right away in your rewards account (Frontier's is "Early Returns") but I called today and a rep with a very thick accent told me (I think) that they wouldn't be available until JULY!
For those of you who have done this, has it been your experience that it took that long? Worried that I didn't fully understand the rep. Also thinking that possibly she is giving me the very latest that I will see the points and possibly in "real life" they do show up sooner.

I haven't done this, but I did look into the card and I thought I remembered reading in the fine print that it took 4 months and because of that I didn't apply. March to July is 4 months so that sounds right.

OK thx. Sometimes they quote that window but really it doesn't take that long. Was hoping some had personal experience of having the points show up sooner than the estimate given. That would be a pleasant surprise.
I usually try to book flights asap. Waiting until July to book a Sept 12th flight makes me uneasy, but hey.... my friend always books her flights last min (as her trips are usually spur of the moment) and she never has trouble!

FWIW, we've been booking our Frontier Flights anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks out and getting fabulous rates. If anything it seems with them that the closer you get the better chance of a great promo.

Thanks for that! It does make me feel better! Its funny my BFF and I are so alike BUT with wdw trips, I plan a year in advance and she plans anywhere from a week to a month in advance. I see that her trips all work out well in the end. I need to get more like her!!
