Frontera Cocina or STK lunch?

hey guys!

Leaving next Saturday and trying to plan a out of park lunch for Sunday. We want to go somewhere new that we've never been (just me and the gf)

We've done boathouse, chef arts (omg yum) we haven't done morimoto (I don't care for that type of food unfortunately) so we were thinking either Frontera Cocina or STK

I already grabbed a ressie for Cocina But I keep reading bad reviews about it. I'm a little nervous because the gf is Latina and very picky when it comes to Latin dishes and the menu is pretty pricey to be let down. I was thinking maybe STK mainly because I want to try their truffle fries (if they're anything like Raglan roads skinny chips I'll be in heaven)

But there is really only appetizers/sides that look appealing on the STK menu. I'm just really torn and close to saying screw it we will eat blaze pizza and wetzles pretzels and be happy lol

Anyone have experience with either of these restaurants that can chime in?

I like the "be happy" option, personally.

My two cents:
Frontera is gross( I much prefer SAI in Epcot), the line at Blaze was super long the evening we ate at Frontera, and I've never tried STK...there are MANY places to eat at Disney Springs though. I would just go without a reservation then play it by ear.

I was also disappointed in Frontera. I've never eaten at STK so I can't comment on that one. Good luck!

We really liked Frontera. Very loud in the restaurant, but find that at almost all of them
