I had our entire vacation planned out with US/IOA during the middle of the week. We just found out today that we'll have to shift our vacation by a few days due to dh's job and mandatory meetings.

My question is - about how long are the lines on a Saturday or Sunday with a front of the line pass for the various shows/rides/coasters? We're planning on being there either the second weekend (9-10) in August or the third weekend (16-17) in August. I'm trying to find out what other people have experienced in the past on weekends during the busy summer months. We aren't big HP fans so although we will probably go to that area since we've heard how great it is, we don't expect to spend all day there and are really looking for the wait times for other attractions/rides.

Both parks will still be crowded during August but the third weekend might be a little better crowd wise. No one knows about wait times as of yet but having Express access won't hurt.

I understand that both parks will still be busy at that time - I was looking for how long people have waited in the past during the busy summer months with a front of the line pass. I have never been to US/IOA and was just looking for peoples experiences/wait times so I can prepare myself and my family for how long we will wait/how much we may be able to get done.
