Front Of Line for Hotel Guests??

Does anyone know or can anyone tell me how the Front of Line access works @ the hotels?
I am staying onsite for 1 Night at the Portofino. We plan to check in early in the morning, (is this allowed) and use the room key for that day, then stay the night and spend the next day @ The Studios (1st day @ IOA!) Can I use front of line for both those days?
What is the checking in and out like and how does the front of line work!?!!

if fact everthing you have just said- you can do. just drop off your bags and get a room key in the morning. then make sure you get a room key.

you must show your room key ( usually only one per your group) to get FOTL. It is wonderful. the only ride we had more than a 5 min wait on was DDRF and that was only because of where you enter the main line. the wait was about 15 min but the regular line was over an hour. When you check in eary you will get roomkeys and can check your bags but will not get your room number and the keys will not be activated (not sure about activated to use locked gates to the hotel but they ares locked while the parks are open). You also get early entry staying on site. Not may rides are open but we liked using the time to take pictures and to look around.
