Front loading Washers

I also have the Kenmore HE4t pair. ORANGE!!

It was delivered in January and I love it. At first it vibrated a lot on spin, but it was because the installers didn't have the pedestals tightened. It's amazing how clean things get and I went from 10 - 12 loads to about 4.

My DSis just bought the Kenmore Oasis pair - top load w/o agitator. Not as large capacity, but worked very well.

I don't have any washer smell, but was told to leave the door ajar after using and to run an empty load w/ white vinegar every month or so.

As everyone else in Europe, we have a front loading washer (and dryer). Ours are from Miele.

Same here, except my model has the sanitizer cycle, which is great for DH's running clothes and the ferrets bedding.

I've always left the washer door ajar and have yet to have a "sour smell" that people talk about. I ahve the pedastals and LOVE not having to bend over to do laundry and the extra storage.

The sanitizer cycle runs for 1 hour and 55 minutes. The washer heats the water up. This cycle kills dust mites and other things. We do every other sheet washing in this cycle. The whites are done every other cycle too. The other whites cycle is the white whites cycle. We have not used bleach in 6 months and the whites are very white. We love this cycle.
