From WL to Everywhere Else

Does anyone have any tips on getting to the parks from Wilderness Lodge other than the usual?

We will be going to WL in Sept. and although I am very excited, I have to admit I'll miss getting on the monorail. Is there a way we can catch the monorail without wasting too much time? Is it even possible?

Any tips would be very much appreciated!

There is a bus that goes from TTC, Wilderness Lodge, Ft. Wilderness.

So yes, you can get to the monorail fairly easy.

sorry to bother but can I ask more thing? does it take a lot longer than just taking a bus straight to, in this case, epcot?

if yes, how long?

I'm sure it does take longer, I would say the longest it would take would be 30 minutes more because you have to wait for that bus, then you have perhaps a 5 minute walk to the monorail station from the bus area, then you have to wait on a monorail.

However, if it was me, I would get my monorail fix (and I do, because I stay at Value Resorts), by going to lunch at a Monorail Resort while I'm visiting Magic Kingdom, or spending the morning at Magic Kingdom, and the afternoon at Epcot, or vice versa.

Sometimes when going to Epcot we'll take the bus over extra early, then take a round trip on the monorail.

You can take a boat from WL to the contemporary and catch the monorail there. The boat to MK is also pretty efficient. you can use that to get the monorail to epcot as well.
