We will have a car,but I'm open to Disney transportation if that's easier! I've read so many great reviews on Trail's End Breakfast, the kids really want to go.

Thanks!

...use the car! Now,my question is should we bother to go here for breakfast? Seems like a lot of trouble to me.

Take the bus to MK, then take the boat to Fort Wilderness. After your breakfast take the boat back to MK and spend the day there. The car would be faster but the boat ride over to Fort Wilderness is fun. Have fun.

A car may not always be quicker going to Trail's End. When you get to Fort Wilderness you will have to park the car at the front of the campground near where you check in. Then you will need to board an internal bus to ride to the far end of the campground where Trail's End is located. No parking near the restaurant. Then after breakfast, you would need to take the internal bus back to you car and drive to wherever you are going. I'd agree with the poster who said a bus to the MK and then the boat to FW. The boat will drop you right near the restaurant. After you eat, there is a playground there for the kids and I think they still have a small petting zoo in the area. You can also check out the stable where they keep the horses for the parades, etc. And then catch a boat back to the MK. We enjoy Trails End - it is one of the cheaper buffets on WDW property and the food has always been good. No characters there though.

How about a taxi? This is what we do when traveling from resort to resort. I hate bus hopping.

or,
take a ferry(or walk) to MGM.
take a bus to FW (buses are close to ferry drop-off)
hth
:)

We learned this the hard way. We too don't bus hop or transportation hop. So we took a cab to HDDR.

We still had to take the internal bus to the HDDR, which is right next to Trail's End.

We did this last summer. It was pouring rain, and we were at WL, we didn't want to walk outside to the boat launch, so we got the grand idea to take a cab. Little did we know that the cab drops you off at their gate and we still had to walk to their bus stop and then to Trails End. :lmao:
