From Port to Hotel in Barcelona...Transportation

Looking for the best transportation from the port to our Hotel?

Has anyone booked a Van through a private company or gone through Expedia or some other means...

Need some help/ we will have a total of 8 bags....[yikes, I know]

We have used Suntransfers a couple of times with no problems.

On my first WBTA cruise I just had the hotel call for a van that I shared with four other people at my hotel that where on the same cruise. On my second WBTA a group of fellow cruisers arranged for buses to the port. It was such a large group we had three buses and the price was very reasonable. Have you checked to see if anyone started a group page for your cruise? You might find some fellow passengers at the same hotel that you can possible share a van or if more people are interested arrange for a bus like my group did. Good luck.

No, we have only used them from the airport to hotel, and from cruise port to airport. But I'm sure you can book them between the cruise port and hotel.

this is actually for next year EBTA...

shhhhh/ not on DCL....I know.....but after 21 cruises on DCL I think they are pricing us off the ship

NCL Epic....doing a b2b leaving PC April 1st 2017..,,
They offered all kind of incentives....
Pretty nice...

I do love DCL, and will be back, but for now, they have priced us out...

i'd love to hear what you think about NCL after the cruise..
i haven't tried NCL yet, but they do have some fantastic prices..
plus they have ships near us a lot of the time, so they'd be easy to pop on to....
DCL only sends the magic to us a few months a year, so it would be nice to have an alternative...

DD's on the magic right now...in the med...she gets back to barcelona saturday morning and then flies out on the red eye at midnight...

private van sounds good!
DD's planning on sending her luggage from the port to the airport with a company that does that..
they have a stand right at the port terminal...
and you pick it up at the airport...

she has to get off the ship at 9 am and her flight's not until just before midnight..
so she'll ship the luggage over and i guess keep her carry on with her (pain)...
i don't know how she'll waste a whole day in barcelona....
she would go to the airport and hang out in the business lounge, but she can't go to the lounge until she checks in..
and the airline doesn't open for check in until 3 hours before the flight...catch 22...

i'm sure it will be fine...
the downside of cruising from a port that's not home..

Great, we used them also for a semi-private tour for one day and we did the hop on bus the next day.
