Oh poor, poor kitty and poor you! What a helpless feeling.
I hope you get some good advice from another vet tomorrow.
Leaving your pet like this would be really hard to do...

Sending you good thoughts for the best possible resolution.:flower3:

Thanks for the news about Jarvis's mom! I hope it means more time for her!!

cute picture! :thumbsup2

Thoughts and prays for you and your kitty. I went over and hugged on mine, even if he hates it when I hug on him. He is not a snuggle kitty.

 to you from me!

I hope there is better news about kitty tomorrow.

I just got teary eyed remembering what it was like to loose my Mimi earlier this year.

It's so hard watching your pet not behave like themselves...I will pray for him tonight.

Take Care.

So sorry about your kitty! I can imagine how hard it is to get excited about going when you have to leave him:sad1:

Good for Drew for helping you out with the vet visits!

Sorry your kitty isn't doing better and shame on the 1st vet for getting your hopes up.

That's good news about Jarvis's mom.

Yes, sometime between 4 and 5 sounds good. He should be off of work by then.

I just popped in to wish you a good trip. I'm so far behind, but will hopefully catch up while you are gone.

I've had to go back a few posts to figure out some of what is going on.... I'm sorry about your kitty not feeling well (saw that on facebook). I hope the second vet has a good solution. I didn't know Jarvis' mom was sick but I'm glad she's out of the ICU and doing better. I know how rough it is when you mom is that sick, so I will definately add them to my thoughts.

It's Disney Eve for you gusy:cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

Sorry your kittie is still hurting:sad1: I hope she will be OK.

Great news about Jarvis' mom. Thank you for updating us.

Poor little kitty!! I am so sorry you are still dealing with this problem. Not to mention your sweet little kitty. I hope the second vet has a better plan.

Talked to MeMom a little while ago. She had talked to the 2nd vet on the phone. He is giving the kitty a stronger antibiotic shot to see if that will do the trick. If not then Mom will have to make some decisions this afternoon. The vet said they can do x-rays and run some tests to see what is wrong, but of course that costs money and in the end the result might be that it is best to put him to sleep. Mom doesn't want to do that but at the same time she doesn't want him to suffer anymore. Please pray for her to have peace with whatever decision she makes. I hate that this is happening at all, especially at a time where we shoudl be excited about our trip. I am so grateful that Drew has been there to help her out a little with this.

:sad1: awwww, I'm so sorry guys. I will pray for you all. That is no easy decision, but we hate to see our animal friends in pain.

Thanks for the update Jill. I have been wondering all day about what was going on with Kitty. I didn't want to bother MeMom with all the stress of the cat being sick, school and getting ready for the trip. Please let us know of any new developments. I'm glad Drew was there to help her out during this difficult time.

:hug::hug: hugs to memom! my heart breaks for you. i haven't had to do this with any of my pets yet but i know the day is coming and i can't imagine how hard it is. i really hope the antibiotics do the trick. you will definitely need some disney cheer now!

First of all, so glad that prayers are being answered for Jarvis' Mom. I will continue to pray for his family.

Second of all, I am so sorry about your cat. I hope that he responds to the second round of antibiotics. I will pray for you about your decision concerning your kitty. Our pets become part of our family and it is always hard to see them hurt or suffering.

Lastly, we had the best trip. EVER! The weather was great and the crowds were low. The Food and Wine Festival had delicious food. We tried many foods that I had never had before like lamb and duck. DS7 rode several rides that had never ridden before like Space Mountain, Primeval Whirl and Mission:Space, and Expedition Everest. I had never ridden EE either. We were so nervous when we first got on but we ended up having a blast. It is so much fun to finally be able to ride the big rides together as a family. We got picked as Family of the Day,not once, but twice. The first time was at EPCOT. We were allowed behind the ropes at the Fountains. We got our pictures made with the characters, then we got to ride in a Test Track car to be the first ones on Test Track. They let us ride it twice without getting off, then gave us a free 5x7 picture and FP's for another ride. Then they took us over to Mission:Space. We got a tour of the ride and the ride control room. Then we rode it.

The next day we went to the Magic Kingdom. I was so surprised to be picked again. We got to ride up Main Street in a old time Fire Truck/car. They stopped in front of the Castle to let us take pictures before taking us to Toon Town. Once there, we had a meet-n-greet with a bunch of characters. After photos were taken, we hopped on the train with all the characters. We rode to the front of the park and were up on the platform for the opening show. Afterwards, we had a few moments with Mickey by ourselves and then it was off to enjoy the rest of our day. It was amazing!
