MeMom I have a favor to ask.

We just pushed back our trip a week so its into August now(5-10) . I just looked at the calendar for the main street electrical parade and nothing is listed for August. I really am hoping to catch it with the kids who were either too small or not born yet the last time it was here. Could you ask someone if it will be showing in august??

My mind is a mess but when did you get the Beach Club? Isn't that what you were wanting?

I just got it for one night, the 5th. So right now, we are at BLT for 2 nights, BC for 1 then SSR for 4...
Subject to change, I'm calling like every hour today to see if we can add a couple more BC nights, then finish up at SSR.

YUM!!! That food is from Pop Century. I know because I covet it. That just made me super hungry! The one on the right is the Chicken Penne Alfredo. Everything POP really is the best CS on property in my opinion. Such amazing variety and everything is SO good! I love the Mom's Night Out fried chicken meal and the flatbreads too.

What I wouldn't give to be going to Disney tomorrow! I know you'll have an amazing time! I can't wait to see all of Brooklyn's big girl adventures! I think TOT is 44 or 48in...I'm not sure. I haven't been with children small enough to check...either way, she has the courage and that's what counts! If I don't get on again before, have a safe trip!

TOT is only 40 inches. I have this cool Disney Growth Chart

I got is for $2 from Disney's Character Warehouse store at Prime Outlets.

DD is a little over 40". She has done soarin, test track, BTMR, Splash Mountain...but not TOT. I think she would be scared. Not of the drops...but of everything else!

I miss Splash Mountain so much, it was closed the entire time we were there in February. It was also cold while we were there but we're hardy New Englanders and probably would have gone on anyway.

Splash Mountain is one of my favorites. Not right at the top, but in the top third, I'd say. Nice and relaxng on a hot summer day.

Tomorrow is Disney Day!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for ya'll.

Yes, it most certainly is. I just go back from the grocery store, and I have filled my kitchen with food for the youngest boy, so I don't have much left to do.

You could eat something different every night for a good long trip at Pop. They have a good variety. I've never been disappointed in the Chicken Penne Alfredo - it's always hot and good and there's plenty of it. With the breadstick, there's no way I can eat the whole meal, so it's more than enough to fill you up.

The MSEP is supposed to run until Aug 14th..unless they extend it! I hope they do!

I am so excited that you all leave tomorrow!!! I am happy to be there Friday as well, but I am really bummed because things have happened at work that have messed my plans up. I will be transitioning to partner soon which is too complicated to explain quickly, but my partners have informed me that they do not want me to go on vacation in September because it is so close to my partnership date. I am trying to be a big girl about this but I am crushed. Once I become partner, I will have to wait awhile before I can take off any time, so no vacations until at least next spring. I am soooo depressed right now. I had to take my ticker off which really has depressed me. Sorry to be a downer but I had to vent to someone. My husband seems to think it is not a big deal.

That really is a disappointment, but for a good reason. Congratulations on your partnership!

Your spring trip will be incredible, and you can vent to us as much as you need to. We understand completely.

Thanks, MeMom. I'm still not even sure of our schedule yet - this is VERY last minute for us, we're just happy to get to go. We're not stressing too much about what we can/can't fit in - we'll just be happy to be at Disney and even if all we do is hit the parks a little and hang out by the pool, we'll be happy! I'll definitely keep an eye out for all of you and see if we run into one another!

No problem. You know where we will be at those times, and you are very welcome to stop by. They are all just quickie meets, except for the AK afternoon and the MSEP evening. If you see us at Pop, definitely come and say hello. We may very well se you at the kiddie pool.

Hahaha! Baylor is going to hate missing out on that Beverly meet at Club Cool! It will be super easy for us to walk over from the Beach Club now!!!

It's a good food court, but it can get really, really crowded. Try to eat at off peak times, if you are going to eat there.

She's more pumped up about Kali River, it seems to me.

We were there early and walked right onto Splash. As we were winding up and down the queue, I thought of how hot and stuffy it gets in there when you are waiting in the regular line.

I'll be very impressed if Brooklynn rides Tower of Terror! I wasn't brave enough to ride that until I was 15. Now it's one of my favorites

That would be good to get a three day weekend. Our Mother's Day trip was short but fabulous!

I hope Brooklyn gets to ride the rides she wants! My Ds was 5 the first time he rode ToT. We rode it at night, after the frist time he wanted to go on it again. I said," Are you sure? (I was surprised!) He said, "Yes!" So we rode it again, after that he didn't want to ride anymore! Which was fine. He rode again on one other trip and we haven't ridden it since! He's 9 now! ToT isn't my favorite ride, but I will ride it. He finally rode on RnR on our Spring Break trip and he liked it. DH rode it too for the first time! DH doesn't like the big rides! , so DS and I usually ride them. DS does like all the other big rides though, especially Splash and Space, EE, Kali, BTMRR, and let's not forget TSMM. Oh wait, I think that's all of them!:

We have been counting down with Brooklynn how many sleeps we have left. She normally does not take a nap in the afternoon especially at school. Well this morning when I woke her up I told her only one more sleep until Disney World. She was so excited and has been telling her teacheres and her friends that all day long. Well naptime came and she actually fell asleep and fell asleep hard. So when her teachers woke her up for snack she popped her head up and said "No more sleeps. i'm going to Disney World!" We had to explain that it is one more sleep at home before we leave and that her nap did not count.
