Is the quickest way to just take the resort monorial? Any idea how long this takes?
Is there a direct ferry between these two resorts?
I guess we can also just take our car but given we plan to eat at Cali first night I'm assuming this would be a bit "boring"?

You are correct in saying that the absolute best way to do this is take the resort monorail. It would most likely even be faster than taking your car.

There is no direct boat service between the Polynesian and the Contemporary. The Contemporary's boat dock is on the Bay Lake side, not Seven Seas Lagoon.
