I'm going to Disney on my class trip in the begining of June for two days and I will have hopper tickets. They will bus us to a park in the morning and then its up to us from then on. So I want to get as much done in those two days as possible so approximatly how long does it take to get from park to park using the Disney transportation? Thanks

It depends on which park to which park. Somewhere online there's a calculator for WDW where you plug in your start and destination and it'll tell you how to get there and how long to expect. The major problem is there is no direct transportation from park to park -- you'll always have a stop somewhere in between. If you're going from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot, you take the monorail to the TTC, than transfer monorails to Epcot. That one is the easiest. If you're going to AK, I'd grab a bus from a park to the AKL, and then just hop a shuttle to AK. AK to epcot, hop a bus for one of the Epcot resorts and enter through the International Gateway, etc.

Um, actually I think there are direct buses in some cases: between Epcot and MGM, between Animal Kingdom and MGM, between Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

I don't know about the busses from Epcot to MGM. They do have the boat, and there is a walking trail (along side the waterway) that goes from MGM to Epcot.

I believe all of the parks have buses from one to another with the exception of Magic Kingdom. I am not sure that it has buses to the other parks you may have to go through the TTC for a bus from there.

The easiest way to get from the Magic Kingdom to any other park (except Epcot which is on the monorail) is to walk to the Contemporary and take the bus from there. You can also monorail there or to any of the MK resorts and grab a bus from there. The CR is about a seven minute walk from the MK entrance and the bus station comes up first. It also have a roof over it to keep the sun and rain off people waiting for the buses.

You can take a direct bus from each of the theme parks to any other theme park. Its well marked, head to the bus stop area and locate the stop for the park you want to visit. I suggest you allow an hour to transfer even though it could take less time. You want to account for wait time for the bus which should be less than 20 minutes (could be longer) and then the actual travel time.

In addition you can take the monorial from MK to Epcot with a switch at TTC, and you can take the boat or walk between MGM and Epcot.
