Just a thought, or a tip for an upcoming trip. I was thinking about purchasing some shelf-stable milk (like Organic Valley or Parmalat)for our 18 month old for our trip in January . That way I could pack it and wouldn't have to worry about keeping it cold. But then recently in the mail Enfamil sent me some high-value checks for the Enfagrow Older Toddler milk - which is crazy expensive, but the checks I've been getting are for $5 and $7. At my local shoprite it's $6.50 for a 4-pack of the ready to drink milk boxes, and I'm pretty sure you can stack the checks with other Enfamil manufacturer coupons. So, if your grocery store allows, you can actually get paid to purchase this stuff (2 pks of Enfagrow milk @ $6.49 each, minus a $5 check and a $7 check, and minus two $5 off enfagrow coupons from the enfamil website = free + $9 to spend on the rest of your groceries).
I would never buy this stuff on a normal basis (it's a lot cheaper to spend $4 on a gallon of milk!) But the portability of the milk boxes and not having to be refrigerated will be great for this trip! And free!
Hope that helps!
