From MCO to AKL on ME

How long does it generally take to get to AKL from MCO on ME? Is it generally one of the 1st stops on like in the middle? I know that the MK resorts are last for ME.

The overall average from airplane landing to drop-off at resort is 70 minutes. There are no pre-set DME routes and no pre-set groupings of resorts within buses. It's all dispatched due to need and efficiency at that time.

Depending on who they know will be arriving (from DME reservations), it's possible there could be an entire bus ONLY going to AKL, or AKL could be the third or fourth stop -- it all depends on who is arriving at MCO when. So whatever happens at 10:00 a.m. could be completely different from what happens at 11:00 a.m., and so on.

Wish I could give you something concrete, but it would seem that DME is very 'fluid'!!! I have had several experiences, dh has had one and a friend has had one.....I was staying at POP twice. First time I was the first stop, then the bus went on to AKL and another resort (CSR I believe). Then, last May, again I was at POP. However this time, I was last on the bus...AKL first then CSR, then me. When dh used DME the following day his bus stopped at POP first, then AKL. My friend, if I remember correctly, had the reverse experience...she went to AKL first, then the others.
I guess it depends on the driver.

We arriving on the 28th at 12:30 and I am hoping to be at AKL no later than 2:30. We shall see what happens. I hope we are the 1st dropped off. Last year we stayed at the POP and we were the 1st.

The previous posters are correct. The resort groupings vary based on demand. BUT it's not random. Resorts closer to MCO generally get dropped off first and resorts are generally grouped together because the resorts are either near each other or are "one the way".

POP--CSR--AKL is a common route. POP is generally the first stop. I'll speculate that reason POP was the last stop might have been because DME wanted the bus to be available to start pickups at POP. DME doesn't mix incoming and outgoing passengers on the same bus. I wouldn't expect AKL to have enough guests to have a dedicated bus very often.

This was a good question. We are going for our Honeymoon and first trip to the world. We are coming in Feb and using ME we are also staying at AKL. I was told by a CM that it would take about an hour from MCO to AKL. Maybe an 1 1/2. I am hopping it will not take that long honestly. I am sure it will take close to an hour, but hopping maybe not that long. We arrive at 6:30 AM into MCO so not sure how traffic is that early in the AM and how many arrivals they get that early.
