From EPSN to POP Century

I posted a question on the resort board about where I can watch the Taylor vs Wright middleweight fight on 6/17 and everyone told me the ESPN club (or whatever it is named.) The fight is at 9:30PM. My family and I will be using DW transportation so my question is; how late do the buses and boats run? Any ideas how to get from ESPN (Boardwalk) to Pop Century that late at night (probably at least after 11-11:30)?

Thanks,

Hi there...

When we were in WDW last June, our original plan was to go to ESPN the first night we were there for drinks and to unwind.

We were staying at Coronado Springs. The concierge there told us there was not a way to get directly from the resort to the Boardwalk. We would have to call a cab. I just did not want to do that - so we switched up our plans.

As far as I can tell, you would have to go to Boardwalk from a park. You could probably just take a cab back to your hotel.

I hope that helps!

We would like to have a ESPN & Beaches & Cream night too. We have never been there either.

(checked by passporter guide book) You can go to Downtown Disney from Pop Century (about 20 min bus ride), and take either the boat or bus from Downtown Disney to the Boardwalk, (I think the boat sounds nice). It is a 10 min. ride either way from DD to BW

Or, you can walk or take a bus from Epcot or MGM parks to Boardwalk area (ESPN).

Downtown Disney is open late because Pleasure Island is there too, and Pleasure Island closes at like 2 AM. (I would think buses run longer and the boats probably don't) - - Sounds like a fun adventure - Enjoy yourself!

If you are at your resort, take the bus to MGM and then boat to the BW.

If epcot and MGM are closed when you get done, take the bus to DTD and then change to your resort bus. Timewise, it would be over and hour if you include wait time.

A taxi from the BW to POP would cost about $10 and take 10 minutes.

There is no boat from DTD to the Boardwalk. They are on separate bodies of water.

We used to always go to the ESPN but, at times it could get very busy. Last fall we wanted to see a game and it was crazy busy... a CM told us to head over to All Star Cafe (we were thinking it was with the all star resorts..) but it wasn't. It was the place where they have baseball games, etc. It is actually very close to POP. (as i remember) anyway.... it was fantastic!! we will be sure to go there from now on. Not sure if they have disney transportation there when there is no game going on, but a taxi would be pretty inexpensive.

Yes, the cafe is at the WWOS complex.

There is WDW transportation (sort of). Busses travel between MGM and WWOS from 8AM to 8PM every 20 minutes or so. So you could get there by bus but would need a taxi to get back.
