From Deadhead to Disneyhead...

One of the things that makes me smile about Disney is how it affects (or doesn't affect) different people. I especially love when people submit pictures of themselves and you see a big, burly guy whose a little tough and threatening looking, posing with a big smile in front of Cinderella's Castle. It's funny what this place does to some people. It took me a lot of years to convince my husband to visit WDW. Having followed The Dead for 4 years I thought (and he thought) he was much too cool............Now we own a DVC and he's frequently spotted wearing a Mickey T-shirt. WDW just does it for us...you know what I mean?

I'm right there with you and DW doesn't even get it all the time .

I alwats get the WHY Disney.

I've raced motorcross & Jetskis .For the past 8yrs Played Paintball .We play at WWoS in Oct every year and when I go to the parks I get the YOUR GOING WHERE.

I don't care I love Disney and the Escape it gives me.

I'm right there with you. When all of my out there metaphysical, anti-establishment,anti- big business friends ask how I am able to go to Disney year after year, I simply explain that my astrologer pointed out that almost all of my astrology lives within the 11th House, thus my need to immmerse myself in a land of dreams, wishes and hope. LOL. Works for me and stops (most of) their questions.
