from CS to Chef's mickey

hi we will staying in coronado springs, we have a reservation to have dinner in mickey chef, wich is the best way? i will using disney transportation, i read that i can go to epcot and take the monorail or go to downtown disney and then take a bus to the contemporary. thanks!!!!
