From bad to worse

So this month there are no host events at all? Great. For the past few months they have gone from no prize host events, I mean we like the host's but I personally became accustomed to some kind of prize not just wait in line for 2 hours to take a picture with a host.

Then the dreaded "dreams month" that almost caused VMK the loss of its most famous fool ever. Now nothing.....

I started around Christmas last year, you know in the "olden days" before the vmk pass, remember when host prizes were worth something becasue you had to be lucky enough to even get in not just click and wait your turn.

Whats next Pay for host? Or pay for play? Ok just a little rant.... Im done.

All I can say is this will be the first of many by the end of this month but I feel vmk is doing this for a reason usually when vmk is dead like this they just POP out with something huge and start up again it's always slow after christmas just like the world, kids being woken up early and are getting back to school and then suddenly becoming the pain when santa isn't around and adults revcovering from sticker shock and pricetagpholomia and what not......

If you can hold your screams and future rants about the upcoming statments it would be appriciated

Aww boy,
I feel your pain. Lately I just log in long enough to get my daily credits. Boring, boring, boring. But hopefully things get better once the gingerbread house judging ends.

VMK being boring has never once entered my mind. I might be bored one night but that's usually short lived. I find something to do, or someone to stoc- i mean hang out with. Sorry you're feeling that way, but I too believe VMK has some fun things in store just wait and see!

It comes in waves for me. Get excited then it wains, then excited again. Its sort of like snow for me. I want snow so bad, get it then get too much and then get tired of it. (Alright no snow for me this year - yet, but this is my pattern.) I do this every year and I do this every few weeks with VMK. So I hear you, hang in there.

I at never one point said you should't express yourself it's just evveryone is bored not just ppl who didn't entered ppl who have entered and got judged or are waiting are still bored too

I am so thankful the last few days have been uneventful - it gives me a chance to restock the credits I spend over the last few monnths.

I am very excited about this months theme - and am really looking forward to something new tomorrow.

I was sad when I saw how empty the stores are - but the fact is, over the last few months people have been complaining about having to many items to buy and now we have some time to earn more credits...

Good point also. I know we are all speculating, but if magic is to come this month, might not be cheap @_@ Get yer credits now.

Hosts are just busy, you probably know that. Although i feel the same way, i log onto VMK and i go do other stuff like other things.

I mean, i still play potc and hang out in VMK, but other then that.. Super boring.

But then again, i never do host events hahah. I just somehow get the item.

Right now my goal is to get : Pacman for my phone

Weren't we all upset about no new stuff and then - boom - December was an avalanche to say the least.

I do agree that no events is a bit difficult for all but 2,000 in the contest, but I would be willing to bet that VMK has some great stuff ahead for us.

Hang in there all! There is probably some more fun right around the corner!

Here's my two cents as a newbie compared to alot of people here. Been here about 6 months now. The months have been exciting. Got into lots of trouble with family for hogging the computer and being on so long. Learned from a few months back to buy while you can because they could be gone the next day. Especially the New Year's hat and rooms.

I've been a little bored at times but not much. I am focusing on increasing my credits via mansion but get so frustrated with the lags. (As you have probably read in my posts here) To frustrated I think. I have actually made some new friends that have stopped by my room to check out my Gingerbread house and reacquainted with some not so new friends. Some have been here since day 1 or there abouts! Some Dis'ers too. Really Cool for me. Really enjoyed the time I have spent with them.

When mansion gets so bad and I mean bad like stop and fast forward with no middle or real time play, I try to go hang out somewhere with friends or think about trying that car quest again.

Lags in events and new stuff in VMK is credit earning time.

You never know what and when new things come out. Just like with the gingerbread stuff, we had no idea it was coming. It took so many people by surprise.

I miss the host events as well ( games ) When I first started VMK the host prizes and pins were a big help in trading up to other items. I can't imagine how much more difficult it is for newer players to do the same.

While I would love to see the return of unique host prizes and pins awarded in host game rooms, I can imagine the frustration of impossible line ups.

I think if anyone has a good workable solution post it here for us all to sent the request into contalk us. ( yes the black hole I'm told but unless the powers that be are aware of our wishes nothing will be changed)

I have no clue on how things are ran at VMK, but with the holidays, I am sure that some will get a vacation. Maybe VMK intentionally slows things down for the holidays to allow for more staff to be able to take off. Working with just a skeleton crew.
