I am hoping that someone can help me with the following questions. We are planning our first trip to Disneyland for next summer. We will probably go in late July. How terrible is the weather then? How about the crowds? Wait times? How many days should we plan on staying to see both parks?
Thanks!

July in Southern California is generally pretty nice. It's certainly warm, but it doesn't get as hot as it does inland. It's not as hot as Florida in July, and not as humid.

It will be crowded, especially on weekends. You should allow at least 3 days to see both parks.

<font color=navy>I agree. Although July can get really hot sometimes, it's only really bad for a few hours at its worst.

Lines can get really crowded, especially at the most popular attractions, but with good planning, you can see everything.

Go early & get those Fantasyland rides out of the way
Get those Fastpasses (Splash Mtn runs out the quickest, so get that first)
Relax during midday, when the crowds are at their biggest
* Golden Horseshoe is a good choice for lunch & a show, or go to Innoventions - cool in there, or go to California Adventure - Animation Studio & play in there awhile. You can also have lunch in the Blue Bayou (make priority seating arrangements), or see a movie at Downtown Disney
* or go swimming at your hotel

Go back to the parks when the day is cooler 4pm or so, or even later - the crowds are more bearable then, and you'll feel refreshed after kicking back.
