So I'm down the street shopping this morning. Came out of the store and went to put the key in the ignition. Now the DH is a joker and we have these sticky frogs that jump on our window at night, much to the delight of the cats.

DH has a rubber frog that he uses for fishing that looks just like the sticky frogs so when I looked to put the key in the ignition and saw a frog looking back, my first reaction was DH is up to his tricks again. Then the frog blinked!!

I wanted to catch him (or a her) but it wasn't having any of that. First it jumped into a frog sized space where the steering column goes into the dashboard. Then it flew over to the window and stuck there for a moment. I'm thinking, oh God, don't let it jump on my face! :earseek: I just don't think I can handle that.

Luckily it then jumped onto the floor where I gently picked it up with a piece of cloth and put it into a bag for the ride home.

I'm sure it's off telling all its buddies that it is now a well traveled frog.

That is too funny.......glad to hear that you both made it out safely!!! :rotfl:

OMG! That would have been the end of me!! I have SUCH a frog phobia. :badpc:

BTW, that's not the same frog that was in the car. This one and a smaller version have been showing up on our front window for the past 8 or 9 nights. Might have something to do with me going over with a flashlight and attracting insects for them. Wow, are they fast when they're after a tasty bug. :rotfl:

OHH LORD!! I have a super FROG Phobia! I would die....
My kids tell me that all the time, "oh Mom there are so cute". NO way.

We live next to a creek and when in rains during the spring and summer, OMG the ground is cover with frog, I don't go outside at night.
One time the kids wanted to camp out in the yard, and DH set the tent for them, they slep there with DH and played "camping", well the next day they asked me to go inside the tent to help them get the pillows and OMG!! They had like 6 frogs inside!! I was in shock! :guilty:

I'm so happy you both survived. All of MY frogs are accounted for, so it wasn't one of mine. ;)

Well at least it wasn't a skink. Those things freak me out. It is a lizard but it's legs are so small it looks like a small snake. THat frog sure is cute. Glad you released it.

I have had that happen. I opened the front door the other day and a frog dropped onto my shoulder. Scared me until I could see what it was.

My daughter and I love to go outside and catch frogs, I never thought to use a flashlight! Thanks!
