What do you do with them at the end of your vacation? Do you toss them and buy new next time? How long are they good for and how are you supposed to store them?

I don't use frogg tog any more. They caused such bad dry skin and then dry like a rock. I've switch to the cool down rags they gave us after a runDisney event. They can be bought from dr.Cool and they dry like a towel so you can just leave them out the last night and throw them into the suitcase when they are dry or put them in a bag and wash them with the laundry when you get home. They even have caps and hats made from the same material.

And they have the same effect? Yes that was my problem with the Frog Toggs. I came home, washed ours, and they turned rock hard. I know they come packaged in water, but... while I'm sure they have anti-microbial properties, how long are they good for? lol.

We washed them and re-used them for our next trip. Funny thing was that they worked fantastic for the first trip, totally cooled us down, felt cold for a long time. The second trip we used them, they did not seem to have the "cooling" effect. It was more like just a wet towel. We all noticed it and commented on how much better they worked the previous year.

I used the towels 3 times now (during Avengers weekend last year, Wine and Dine this year, and the the day after Wine and Dine). I think they work great and work just as well when washed as they did before. It is the way the fabric is woven and not a chemical treatment from my understanding. All you do is wet it and then snap it and it feels cool. Some may think they are just the same as a wet rag but I did notice a big difference with them. They also didn't seem to cause the dry neck issue I got with the frog toggs.

We also wash and reuse. Drying them is a tad tricky because I feel like you need to lay them out to avoid mildew (made a mistake of leaving one too long folded up) but once dry they are hard and feel like they would break if I folded them. So I usually lay it flat until it's partially dry and fold it up.
