Apologies if there is a thread about this show somewhere - I searched and did not find it.....

Does anyone else watch Fringe? I just got around to watching the latest episode on my DVR.....

What is the deal with her partner being back? Didn't he die, his body got taken over by that alien/other worldly/parallel universe being and then Dunham had to shoot him in the alley....

So why is back in the latest episode?????? Is it the show creators just messing with us/adding another wrinkle? Or was this simply an episode from before that never got aired?? Is Dunham the only one seeing him and he isn't really there? I did notice that noone else seemed to interact with him but they had him calling her on her cel phone, etc and I think he was the one who actually shot the tranquilizer dart ....

Please someone give me the scoop.....

We had the same reaction.

We concluded it was an old episode that never got aired as my daughter had her DVR set for new shows. I thought the young girl did an excellent job playing the "other" part -- creeped me out!

I was SO confused on Monday night also! I mean, he was most definitely killed off. I agree though...I assumed that it was an old episode that was never aired and therefore 'new'. Very confusing to those following the show though.

Just an 'extra' old episode that wasn't aired. The regular episode is tonight! :thumbsup2

That is the conclusion we came to as well.

I am thinking that they were going to do something more with the Rusk storyline (hence the very end of the episode) but decided not too. I guess they figured this was as good a spot as any to show it. Very weird though....it almost seemed as if they also edited Charlie out as much as possible.

My DH had to pause the DVR to google it, it bothered him so much. It was an unaired episode from season 1, and they juat used it now as a "filler" before going on with the show. But man, for a minute, we thought we missed something big!

Wow, I'm glad I read this thread before I watched it! :) I would've been all confused as well; poor guy, isn't twice enough times to get knocked off the show???

They should have explained that this was an episode from Season 1 (Production Code FR-121), which simply had never been broadcast.

We thought the same thing when we watched it last night! LOL We miss Charlie tho, we really liked his character and we were maaaaaadddddd when they got rid of him. I did like the job that girl did acting like a man, she was freaky!!!
