Frigedaire Gas Range

My oven died - Kenmore 17 years old. Time to buy new. Looking at Frigedaire Gallery with convection oven and warming tray. Any opinions good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks

I replaced all my appliances a couple of years ago with Fridgeadare gallery pieces and have regretted it ever since. I had always trusted the brand, but these have been glitchy and problematic from the start. Some little issues, some big. Warranty sent the repairman throughout the first year. Now we just leave them broken or fix it ourself. Minor quality things like the over door handle won't stay tight. Loosens and rattles repeatedly. The fan in the over rattled and sounded like a jet. The speedbake feature has gone haywire and if I try to use it the oven shuts off & starts beeping error codes. The microwave just doesn't work well. Something that should take 30 seconds might take a few rounds of 2 minutes each.

The refrigerator is cheap plastic inside. For what I've spend on replacement bins, I could have just bought a new Samsung refrigerator.

It is not the quality it used to be. Never again for me.

I less than one month ago purchased the same model. Mine is electric but the same oven in stainless. I love it! I am very pleased with it and have been baking and cooking up a storm. It is HUGE inside and cooks perfectly even. I have yet to experiment with the convection baking but soon.

My story about Frigidaire involves a dishwasher (less than a year old), not a stove, but it has been broken since Dec. 18 and the part is backordered. They are not good at replacement parts. We won't ever buy Frigidaire again.

A few years ago DH and I bought a Fridgedaire gar range and absolutely loved it! Too bad we had to leave it when we sold the house It is hands down the best range that we have ever had!
