ok so ive heard mc ds wont be there any more are there any fries now? id rather have fries then potato's all the time. like at plaza inn i wish i could get fries instead.
what kind of potato's are the BB ones normal ones? they say wedges what kind lol

The potatoes that are served at the Blue Bayou are a tasty cheesy scalloped potato's dish. If you don't like the vegetable selection (it is a very small one) you may have extra potatoes instead. The salad is a wedge salad, also very tasty, and is served with a vinaigrette dressing as well with blue cheese crumbles and tiny sausage bits, on the side.
I love dining there, the food so far, has always been most delicious. The only thing that I cannot stand is seeing people taking flash pictures on the bayou! I wish the pirates would liberate them of their goods!

I just noticed Sy, that you and Jade will be visiting Disneyland during the same time frame. Maybe you will be able to meet her and her family, I think that would be nice. :)

Jade, I think the wedges you see for Blue Bayou are wedge salads, not potatoes.

The wedges are healthier than the fries.

Are the pomme frites fries or wedges? I would also imagine the places serving hot dogs and pizzas would still serve fries, but you can't beat the MCD fries! yummy!

ahh alright ty and lol acutely were a few days off we moved our trip around a bit..humm maybe i should still go to bb for lunch i was thinking was 6dollers more really worth it for potato's but i love scalloped potato's.

Exactly, I would love though to see say for example Cajun inspired French fries on the menu. I have tasted nicely seasoned French fries, that would make for a very nice and tasty addition to the Blue Bayou menu. Emeril, has a delicious seasoning that you can buy, I hope it is still available anyway, for I can no longer find it at Trader Joes, and I am out of my stash, sprinkle that on French fries, and they are just so delicious.

Pommes Frites - Traditional French-fried potatoes tossed with Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley, served with a Cajun spice remoulade $4.99

We gots the Pommes Frites at Cafe Orleans...so good! :thumbsup2

The Blue Bayou, does not serve any kind of French fry.
Café Orleans serves the most delish pomme frittes, which comes with a most tasty remoulade, I had wanted to try that, so I did, last month. It is served in a large basket, and you may request additional remoulade if you would like more.
The very nice waitress, asked me if I would like more remoulade, which I stated most happily and emphatically, YES,PLEASE!

Forgot to add, the pommes frites are a type of French fry.

Is that a sit down place where you need a PS or long wait to eat? Or can you just go in, order fries, and take them with you? I've been wanting to try those but not interested in having a full blown meal there.

Yea... our tickers are the same but she moved her dates up and our trip actually starts in San Diego. By the time I get to Anaheim Jade will be back in Arizona!

It is a table service, one cannot order to go, however, one can have leftovers boxed up, with extra remoulade, I know, for I could not nor did I wish to finish it, while sitting at my table, for I wanted to finish it later on.

Go to Sea World when you go to WDW... At least it is not a 2 hour drive from WDW! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to add, that it is a p.s. establishment, however, you do not need to have such, for I simply walked up to the podium that is outside, and the very nice young man, took my name, and within a few minutes, if even that long, I had a nice table inside, there is outside dining, however, the weather was just hot enough, to where, once feeling how nice and cool it was inside, I opted to dine in. I really only wanted the fries, and to try the pirate punch, and it was not a problem at all, to order only an appetizer and a drink.

oh i have thought about adding an extra day lol also universal studios my son loved the marvel stuff
