No, because I've come to a place in my life in which I only am friends with those that truly are not hard work at keeping... you know? Like in HS and college, you have TONS of friends, and it takes work keeping up with all those people! As you get older, your circle of friends gets smaller, but closer. Me and my very best friend can go literally weeks without contacting each other and still be the very best of friends when we do contact each other. We're just busy, and that's okay!
I am a firm believer that God sends people in and out of our lives to serve a purpose at the time, and that we don't always have to keep up those relationships forever... it's okay to let some go once that relationship has "served its purpose" you know? And some friends will stay around forever. But those friendships that stay around dont have to be nutured all the time in order to keep them up...
Friends are supposed to be a gift you give yourself, let those hard to maintain friendships go... you'll find other good friends right around the corner that won't take as much upkeep =)
