Friends Wedding Anniversary

I have some friends who mean the world to me. Is it appropriate to give them a card and gift on their wedding anniversary? I was thinking a gift certificate to a restaurant they love, or a picture frame.

I met them after they were married if that makes a difference. These are my first married friends so I don't know the protocall. I don't feel obligated, it's something I'd like to do, if appropriate.

I dont see why it wouldn't be appropriate. If its something you want to do then I say go for it. I think a gift certificate to their their fave place is a really nice idea. Its something they will enjoy. And Im sure they will love the thought you put into remember their day with a card. You are a very sweet friend to do that.

I think that recognizing their anniversary with a gift would be a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. It's a bit like you saying you're really glad they found each other.
