Friends joining at the last min

I have a room booked at Pop for Memorial day weekend, and currently I'm planning to do a solo trip. However I have two friends that may be able to join me, but they will not know if they can make it until a few days before the trip. If they do end up being able to come, can I register them at the front desk when we check in, or do I have to call and re-do the reservation. There are two adults possibly joining me, so I don't want to have the extra fee tacked on if they aren't going to be able to come, but I don't want to get down there and have them not be able to stay with me either.

If I were you I would call and tell them what "may" happen. This is what I have done. They didn't charge us until we checked in and the extra person had actually shown up, but I think there will be less confusion if they know in advance.

They like to have all the names of people that are staying in the room and technically won't let people who aren't on the list.

I had a similar thing happen last year. I planned a solo trip last year and had a friend ask if he could join me for 1/2 the trip. I waited until I was at the resort (YC) before I advised anyone that my friend would be joining me for part of the trip. It was no problem to add his name to the room and get him a room key when he arrived. Given the uncertainty about whether your friends will actually be joining you, I think you will be fine waiting until you are there before adding them to the reservation.

I have also had this happen when family members decided at the last minute they wanted to go with me. I always waited until check-in to notify the Cast Member. It was never a problem.
