friends/family MDE pass linking question

Our son is bringing a friend on his graduation celebration WDW trip, we'll call the friend F. F's pass is linked to F's dad's MDE account. F's dad has accepted my invitation from my MDE account as a friend, but F's dad is not joining us. I have F's dad as "see all plans."
How can I get my MDE to recognize F's pass so we can make group FP+ plans?

F's dad needs to make sure you can see and add activities to their account also.
