Friends daugther fallen ill at Disney, can I send something?

Hi guys, I'm not a very active poster here because we have been saving forever for our next trip but I hoped someone here would be able to help me.

My friends daughter was taken ill yesterday while in the parks and was taken by ambulance to hospital. She is now at the local childrens hospital and hopefully will be released at some point today.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can send or have sent for her? She is 11 and has been so hyper excited about this once in a lifetime holiday for so long. I called the Disney 0800 number and they suggested I try the Disney Florist. I had hoped for something that appeared to be from Disney though, rather than from me? Maybe even just a card? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Are they staying on property ?

If they are you can order from the disney florist and they can deliver to the room.

They can make the card out from who ever you want, I had something delivered last year and the card just said from your disney friends or you can get a specific character.

Also if you ring them they are more than happy to swap items different to what is shown online.

Thanks for your reply Sarah (I'm a Sarah too ) They are staying onsite - POFQ. I had a look at Disney Florist and wasnt really sure they had much suitable as they've already been there a week so have bought all their things like ears hats and autograph books. I'll try giving them a call when they open and see if they can suggest anything.

Would it maybe be worth calling POFQ reception to ask if they would be able to recommend something or are they likely to also point me in the direction of Disney Florist?

It's not possible to call the resort directly; you would just get a resort call center. And I doubt they would have suggestions. Your best bet is Disney Florist.

Hi Im sure if you call the resort direct and explain what has happened they will go out of their way to help you and if you don't initially get through to the resort again just explain to whoever your talking too and they should be able to give you the direct number or put you through. Good luck and hope your friends daughter is ok sending lot's of pixie dust

Thanks for all your advice guys! I called POFQ and managed to get through to them directly I spoke to a lovely woman on reception who said that she could arrange a character card to be sent to the room! I am so beyond thrilled!!

That's great, I wouldn't be at all surprised I'd they adds little something extra too!
When my son cut his finger opened in the door at pop they sent us by taxi to the hospital plus gave each if the 3 boys teddies when they got back! When I ended up in hospital for 2 days as an emergency due to a blocked kidney they have the boys credit to get sweets and little gifts, so maybe a little pixie dust will go her way
