Friends Coming Too!

My friends recently decided to start saving for their first family trip to WDW, scheduled for Feb/06. Yesterday we all decided they should come with us when we celebrate our childrens' birthdays in Oct/Nov instead! I am so excited! I had wanted to suggest it before, but I didn't want to intrude on their family trip. We each have 10 yr old daughters, and 8 yr old sons, who have been best friends since they were toddlers. I am in charge of planning, and we have the dates nailed down ( my kids' birthdays are 15 days apart, so we wanted to do a trip in between to celebrate both), and I just booked the rental car ( $236.22 USD for Avis onsite at Sanford) which is subject to change as new rates and codes become availabe. Not a bad rate at all for nearly 9 days ( 8 days/8 hrs).

Our trip will be a little different from theirs', as they may want to do SW and/or KSC as well. We went to SW last time, and will skip it this time in order to concentrate on the 3 disney parks we didn't do last time ( in favour of SW/IOA/US).

I suspect we will buy the 10 day non-expiry premium magic plus to save 1/2 the days for next time, and we will also buy the annual pass for US/IOA (15 mths for $105 thru AAA South). Half of our budget will be on tickets, but attractions for the next trip ( tentatively scheduled for Dec/06. SHHHH, don't tell my husband!) will be paid for!

It's always nice to have a Disney Trip planned

We are trying to come up with the funds to go in November and are thinking about doing the same thing, getting the 10 day pass so we can save some money on our next trip down!

It's all about the budget HA!HA!

11 of us are going on a cruise in 2006. DW and I are from Michigan, and the rest of them are from Ontario (Niagara). Should be a lot of fun -- always good vacationing with a gang of people.
