Friends and Family MDE

How can I invite my husband to view MDE app now that I've already reserved FPs? Everything I read says to add him as a new guest, but that won't show him linked to the FPs that we already have. Did I miss my chance to have him as Friends & Family??? As in, did I need to invite him BEFORE booking FPs?

If you booked FPs for him, he must be either listed or linked in your MDE. He doesn't need his own MDE account. An MDE account is meant to be for a complete family.

Did you reserve FP for both of you? You would normally need to choose who is in your party and then make FP for those people. If you were able to choose him, then he is in your friends and family list.

He is listed and linked in my MDE, but how do I let him gain access through the app (his own account)? It doesn't want to give me that option. It won't let me put his email in anywhere to invite him.

And yes, I booked FP for our entire family. But he would like to be added to view it so he knows when/where to be.

@4GoofyCrew - add the app to his phone and give him your login ID. That's all he needs.

If you go to your friends and family page, does it not give an option to update and invite him? Not the add button, but his name should be listed there already.

Letting him log in with your password would probably be easier anyway, we had a really hard time getting people linked through the invite email. Email not sent, DH following instructions but it took many tries to work, re-sending emails taking forever...

You could call Disney's internet help desk and get them to merge the two versions of your husband together (one from your resort res and one from his MDX account).

There aren't two versions of her DH. He's already listed correctly in the one MDE and he wanted to see the plans on his phone.

App plus her login ID is easiest or screenshots sent to his phone.

I read it as if he set up his own MDE on his phone - and shet set him up under her MDE on her phone...resulting in two versions of her DH.

Right. But if he wants his own MDX account, she'll need to send a friends and family invite to his email, and then she'll have two of him listed in her account (one from the res, one from his MDX). At which point she can call Disney Internet Help desk and have the two of him merged into one and it will all work.
