Friends and Family list in MDE

Hello! I was in the middle of linking a reservation to MDE (for Vero Beach) and realized that my son has disappeared from my Friends and Family list, previous magic bands aren't showing up, etc. I tried to search for him but it tries to create a new account for him - it's like he never had one. Has anyone had this happen before? I don't want to mess anything up by just creating a new account for him (as far as current reservations, linked personal magic bands, etc) but I also dread trying to get through to Disney on the phone right now. Looking for any advice if anyone has had that occur. Thanks!!

A couple years ago, my friends and family list had grown to almost 40 people due to taking trips with various families -- and when I was on the phone with IT about fixing a ticket linking issue, I asked about removing some of the listed people as the site wouldn't let me do so. The IT person said that the people wouldn't be removed, but they could mark them as 'hidden' so that I would no longer see them, and if that I ever needed them to be visible again I could just call back.

So based on the above, maybe your son's record isn't gone but instead is "hidden" -- and if that's the case, you'll have to call (like Mod said above) but once you get a CM on the line if it's just hidden it should be a quick fix.

I purged my list by simply deleting a while back.

Just recently tried to take 2 people off that I have traveled with and it wasn't possible for me to do it myself and of course it's not important enough right now to call. It also says that I can't take them off because they have 'fast passes and tickets'. They don't.

So once all the crazy is over, I guess I'll have to call.

Thanks everyone! I tried to call today multiple times but got an 'all circuits are busy message' each time. Fingers crossed that I'll have better luck tomorrow!!

So once all the crazy is over, I guess I'll have to call.

If they have magic bands or even old tickets with no days left on them, you have to call and have those deleted. It will also deactivate the magic bands and they cannot use them for future trips. We had to do this with a number of people we have traveled with.

Yes, I've been hoping they would change this. I've known that this takes a call for some time. Just keep forgetting to get it done. But their system is so lopsided that it would probably cause greater problems somewhere else if I were able to delete.

I have an issue I wonder if anyone has seen before. I just modified an August stay from Poly to BCV. My reservation is for 8. Five of my people from my friends and family list are matching no problem. The other 3 it asked me to match from my profile. Every time I attempt to match them it gives me an error. I'm concerned because the other three already have park pass reservations, etc. There's no way to even call web support right now, all circuits are busy.

I have the same issue. I have 3 that traveled with us in the past. I tried to remove them. It says I can't as they have current reservations. None of them do and 2 haven't for 3 years.
They are busy enough with all the current bookings that it isn't worth wasting their time for now.

I literally dialed over 100 times today but finally got someone. My original issue was opposite of the last few comments - my son’s profile disappeared and I still needed him there! Somehow my profile ‘absorbed’ his information, magic bands, etc and his essentially disappeared. So I had to create a new profile for him and then they separated magic bands, etc back out and reassigned his to him. Whew! They were super nice as always but what a crazy time to have to get through!!
