Friends and Family at Portifino

We are using my nephew's friends and family rate at Portofino since he works at Universal and it was great deal! Does he to be there when we check-in or can he just come some during our stay to ensure we keep the friends and family rate? Also, does he need to be included in the guest count on the reservation?

Correct. If you are booked at that rate, you are good to go. I'd make sure to have the guy's cell number in case something goes wrong, but I can't imagine that it would.
