Fried chicken help!!!!

A few years back we went to the Hoop de doo and my husband is still talking about the fried chicken! Where else in the "World" can he get good fried chicken?????

Trails End has really good fried chicken. I'm not positive but I think it's the same fried chicken as Hoop de doo especially since they are right next store to each other. We love the fried chicken at Trails End.
ETA: It's a lot cheaper too and the food is great plus we like wandering around the campgrounds.

Agree with Trails End, also Prime Time Cafe at the Studios has really good fried chicken.

The fried chicken at 50's Prime Time @ Disney's Hollywood Studios) is the best I have ever had. It comes with 4 large pieces (breast, thigh, leg, & wing).

Definitely give it a try. The restaurant is a fun place as well.

Yup, pretty sure it's the same kitchen preparing the food for both the Hoop de Doo and Trail's End.

You don't even have to eat-in at the Trail's End buffet if you just want the fried chicken. They have fried chicken meals for take-out at Trail's end as well.

Thanks for all of the great ideas and picture!!! We are scheduled to eat at Sci Fi ( for lunch) when we are at HS, because we have never eaten there. We have eaten at Prime Time, but perhaps we should go back and skip Sci Fi!! Can anyone think of Counter Service in any of the parks for Fried Chicken???

I am not aware of any WDW CS that sell bone-in fried chicken. The best you'd be able to do are fried chicken nuggets.

If you're a fan of white meat chicken, Prime Time will do you a plate with all white meat if you ask.

Back in Oct I'm pretty sure I saw a bone-in Fried chicken platter at Pecos Bill in the MK, which was pretty odd as I never saw anything like that in the parks before. But they might have just been trialing the meal, as I haven't heard anything about it on the DIS.

Another vote for 50s Prime Time. I thought that the pot pie was lousy, but the fried chicken was everything fried chicken should be. And the portion was absurdly enormous. The strawberry shake was also great.

You can get really good Fried Chicken at POFQ food court. I had it last Nov. and it was really good. I think you get half a chicken, plus mashed potatoes and a veg.

Has anyone seen fried chicken at POFQ more recently? Nov is pretty recent, but the menu on wdwinfo, which claims to be from 12/09, does not seem to include fried chicken.

doesn't POP have fried chicken? can't comment on the quality tho because I haven't had it yet
