Fridges in Pop?

Can anyone tell me if the rooms at POP come with fridges or are they extra??

they are $10 per day unless required for medication.

If you would like a fridge, you should check out the many Fridge Swaps available on the Budget Board. There are a lot of swaps right now and they have a lot of openings.

they are aprx 2 foot x 2 foot,the same as the rental ones

the medicinal ones may or may not be the same size. you're promised a smaller one but you may luck out. i've heard it go both ways.

Thanks! I'm wondering if I might be able to fit some of our DDP leftovers in the frig along with the medication. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

I had a question about this, too. We will be at WDW for a total of 4 days on this quick b-day trip in Aug. We should arrive at POP at around 2PM to check in and then we'll be checking out about 8AM on day 4. Would they charge us for the four days or could I ask them about charging us for three because essentially we would be done using it and clean it out on our thrid night and have no use for it after that. Thanks!

Oh, and when you rent one from the resort, do they place it in your room upon check-in? We'd make a grocery stop for milk and sandwich fixings prior to checking in.

I believe the charge would be for the number of NIGHTS of you stay, not days. I have gotten a frig on two occasions for medication. Each time it was on my original reservation and requested again at check-in. Neither time was it in the room. The first time it took two phone calls to housekeeping before it arrived. The second time it came within 15 minutes of calling.

We got the regular sized frig each time but I have read several postings in the last few months that say they only got a tiny frig for meds.

Our frig has been in the room and chilled each time we have requested one which is important since by the time we arrive our ice packs for the meds are pretty worn out. I hope that's what happens this time too.

I am diabetic and need a fridge for meds and food. I request one and have always got one each time we have stayed at any of the value resorts. They are the small, dorm room size fridges, plenty cold enough, and more than enough room for meds, liquids and other small food. They never charged us for it at any time. I am sure it is because it was requested for medicinal purposes.
