OK, I just found it. It is on their facebook page allearsnet. This is great news! I wanted a fridge but my June dates weren't available on the fridge swaps.

UPDATE----I just called ASMovies where we are staying next week. There switchboard operater very clearly stated that "as of today, refrigerators are in all rooms"!!!!! I restated to her, so when we arrive next week we will have a refrigerator? She laughed and said - as of today all rooms are done!!!

I hate to burst your bubble, but they aren't getting fridges, they are getting beverage coolers.

Several sites have stated they are refrigerators, for some unknown reason. Many people think "beverage cooler" is a Disney buzz word for fridge, but it isn't. It is exactly that; it does nothing more than keep beverages cool and they use them on the cruise ships.

Are you 100% sure? I don't think anyone really knows until they are installed.

HMM, this is frustrating. Mom's panel on disney's site states they were told that mini fridges were being installed. I guess as with everything else we will have to wait and see

I stand corrected from the earlier information.

I just pulled up my other fav website, which posts the building permits.

They pulled a permit in late February for Pop Century and it specifically says "Carpentry for Guest Room Refrigerators."

That is a plus. It just doesn't say what size. I would suspect the carpentry is either some sort-of mounting bracket to indicate they would be the small size or half size with an enclosure like the moderates.

That is good news!

That sounds promising! Please update after your trip, because we'll be staying at ASMovies next month and this would really help us out a lot!!

We checked out of AS Movies this morning and there was not a refrigerator in our room. Honestly, all I saw regarding refridgerators were two older ones sitting on a maintenance cart with a note" not working".

It doesn't make sense to me why they'd opt for beverage coolers instead of fridges, especially for all 4 value resorts. I would guess that they likely take less electricity at least.

In my experience with beverage coolers, the item will not get very cold if it's room temp, it has to be cold to begin with. I guess you could use ice to first get the item cold in its container and then transfer to the beverage cooler.

It just seems strange to me to do this kind of upgrade for the room when it would likely be close in price to just install small refrigerators. Given the price for a "value" room at WDW it definitely wouldn't break their budget IMO.

This would be GREAT. We are staying at Pop in April. I do find it odd though if there are already fridges in all rooms of a value resort and I have seen no posts about it. Maybe I missed them, but maybe the Cast member was misinformed. ???

The building permit was just pulled last week for POP, and the work just started today.

They are lighter and easier to install; they also take less electricity. That is why I thought they would distinguish between a value and a moderate.

It will be interesting to see what the room rates are released in August, how much they will go up.

I just talked to a CM today when I was applying free dining to my reservation and she read to me what it said straight from her computer, 'POP and All Stars Sports resort were getting mini fridges in all of the rooms.' I asked to make sure it was a mini fridge and not a beverage cooler and she said they are just like the mini fridges you would usually pay extra for. I don't know about Movies or Music, she didn't say it only mention the other two.
