Fridges already in some hotels?

my parents got back from staying at the All Star Music resort on friday and they had originally thought about renting a mini-fridge during their stay but when they got to the hotel they decided not to and told them not to bring up a fridge. while they were putting their things away they noticed that there was a fridge built into one of the drawers in the entertainment system! it wasn't a mini bar, i already asked them. they said nothing was in the fridge when they got there. so then i told them to call the front desk and make sure they're not going to charge them for a fridge and the woman said she didn't even know about any fridges in the resorts! anyone know what's up with this? sounds really strange! but my parents got a fridge for free which was pretty sweet.

Did they have a king bed room that was handicapped accessible? Fridges aren't in the values but some of the handicapped rooms do have them. Happened to us when I asked for a king bed if available and got one. Had the same thing that you described.

We had a "hidden" fridge one time at the All Stars when we ended up with a king bed room that was handicap accessible (we had requested a king).

On our honeymoon we stayed at one of the All-Stars and we got a fridge in our room as well. I asked for a king size bed and we got a handicap room..Thats with the larger bed and free fridge..

hmmm that's probably what happened. they probably didn't even notice that it was handicapped accessiable lol. thanks for the info. weird how the CM didn't know anything about the fridge lol
