Fridge

I know I read somewhere that there is a fridge already avail in the fully accessible Pop Century rooms, but can't remember where. Is this true? I asked at Special Needs and the CM said there is not one. HELP!!!!

My experience has been that sometimes there is a small fridge in the fully accessible, roll-in shower king bed rooms in the cabinet that holds the tv and sometimes there is not. If you need one for medical reasons, you just need to tell them at the resort and they will deliver one to your room free of charge. About one time out of five, it has been a small shoe box size one and the rest of the time it is a small dorm size fridge. Since I just need it for medication, the small one is fine for me.

No, we don't at this time need it for medical reasons. I am part of a fridge swap and didn't want to take it away from someone else if we were already going to have one in the room.

When there is a small fridge in the room, it is very small with no freezer compartment. It doesn't hold very much...maybe a total of six bottles of water and a half a gallon or so of juice or milk. The dorm size one that they sometimes deliver is quite a bit bigger and it is still only half the size of the ones that they have at the studios at the Disney Vacation Clubs.

We've stayed at PopC quite a few times, always in a fully accessible room with roll in shower. There have been times we've had the tiny shoebox-sized fridge and times when we didn't. A few times we also had the larger dorm sized fridge. Basically I wouldn't on count one since it's hit or miss and if you need a full size fridge it's no longer likely that there'll be one already in the room. Definitely the renovated rooms now at ASMusic and Sports no longer have a fridge in the fully accessible rooms. We've stayed at those resorts for short stays numerous times and have never, ever had a fridge.---Kathy
