this was the original message: Does anyone have availability on a swap for march 5-7 pleaseeeeeeeeee

I am editing it or wanted to delete it because people are so mean and rude that I am over it.

Havent you read all the other threads??! All the fridges are MIA! Forget the fridge swap and rent your own fridge from the hotel like you should be doing.

Don't know if you will have a car but rather than renting a fridge we got the $2 sryrofoam cooler from Walmart and used ice from the vending machine. Worked great!

This may sound funny, but we actually use the recycle bin and load that up with ice. I don't want to pay an extra $10/day for a fridge.

We packed a soft-sided lunch cooler in our luggage and filled it with ice each morning and evening. It kept our stuff nice and cold that way. Leave it in your sink or bathtub, though, because the ice will start to melt after a bit and you don't want leakage. Anyway, if you don't have a car to get to Walmart and buy a foam cooler, this works pretty well. I was in for a fridge swap at Pop in December and the fridge went missing right before we got there, so I feel your pain!

I'm thinking of doing the same. It seems like most of the fridges went missing recently. Think Disney is just tired of doing it and loosing money?

Thank you so very much! That was very helpful! You rock!

That is a cool idea as well. The fridge is for medicine I wouldn't see why they would charge but hey thats probably so they can replace it in the future. Thank you very much!

My husband is (insulin dependent) diabetic and both times we've stayed at Pop, all we had to do was tell them that and we were able to get the fridge fee waived for medical necessity.

We got a soft sided cooler that has one of those hard plastic containers that fits inside. We put ice in it and it worked all week.

Thank you so very much for that information. I was thinking of other ideas to keep the Meds & insulin from getting water logged. :flower3:
