does anyone know what size the new fridges are ar CBR?
what size milk and how many cans of soda will they hold and so on. Just wanted an idea so we know how much food to bring with before we would need to go and reload.

Just got back yesterday from the CBR. We stayed in Martinique, room 2458. The fridge was small, tucked away in a cabinet on the floor. I bought a gallon of milk and a bottle of apple juice for my dd1 - but had to take the metal shelf out of the fridge and put the milk in sideways. It's small, has no freezer, and my fridge was not that cold. I was afraid the milk was going to spoil, but it didn't. It doesn't hold alot, but will hold cans of sodas and a contianer of milk. Have fun!

I was able to get 8bottles of water (12oz) and that was all. the bottles of milk with twist tops will fit very well. Also a 1/2 container will fit, but not the gallon size jug.
There is a knob inside the fridge to make it cooler, just twist it all the way and hope for the best. Most of the fridges are old, but I understand that the moderates and delux resorts are getting newer fridges that work a little better (ie colderm not bigger)
:cool1: :cool1:

We just got back from AKL and had a newer fridge...the key to getting it cold and staying cold is don't close the door on the "cabinet" that it is in! There is no air circulation in there...it is totally enclosed! We had that baby cranked up as high as it would go and it was still warm...then it dawned on us that being enclosed like that would retain the heat! It was really nice to have it in the room :cool1:

they are small fridges, like you would use in a college dorm room

We were just at CSR and I fit two bottles of fruit punch, side ways on the top shelf and a 1 liter of soda under that. On the door is a shelf which held 2 small containers of milk that I got at the Pepper Market. Funny how some of you said had trouble getting it cold. Mine was so cold the soda was frozen almost completely solid!

We had that same problem with soda freezing. Regardless how we adjusted it, we still had frozen soda by morning. This was at all star music.

Had one at BWI in December and WL last week. Both the same. Both fit under the vanity under the sink. Had to request both. Both worked great after adjusting. My water froze the first day. Both had a small freezer which I could slide 2 bottle of water into. Froze quickly. We got beer and water into both.

Haven't been fortunate to have the refrigerators at WDW, but have used that size elsewhere.

The .5 gallon is the largest container you should put in it for optimum results. You'll be able to fit a dozen or so cans/bottles of your favorite beverage (12 to 16 oz, with regular tops--no sport bottles) in, as well.

If you aren't able to adjust the temperature to sufficiently cold, take some one-gallon zip top bags with you and fill them about half full with ice and stick them in between or above the items in the refrigerator. It will help keep things cold, and you can use the ice in your drinks! :)

We were at CBR recently. Our fridge also wasn't cold until we cranked it up to 5. I have heard others say that their stuff freezes at that setting, so you'll have to experiment with yours. Ours was in a cabinet too but it had a vent at the top, so be sure not to cover the vent with your stuff. Ours didn't have a freezer compartment.
