Friday's Fast Riddle

I think you should just give them the TU already:rotfl:

Right I'm going out... to do something more cheerful!
Have a lovely afternoon angel...

Also can we have the english metric translation... we don't do inches and feet over here...

Here you go... Gonna answer now?

Two grasshoppers are hanging around, and each is boasting that they are faster than the other. To settle the argument, they decide to have a race.

The larger of the grasshoppers, Craig -- can jump 84.444 centimeters at a single bound. The other grasshopper, Domenic, can jump only 50 centimeters at a shot. So Craig says, "We're going to set up a racecourse that's 24 meters long: 12 meters out and 12 meters back."

They're each at the starting point. Tara shoots the gun, and they take off.

Now, even though Craig, the bigger grasshopper, can jump 84.444 centimeters at a shot, the little grasshopper, Domenic, jumps more often. So when they get to the five-meter mark -- which is 500 centimeters -- Craig has jumped six times and Domenic has jumped 10 times, but they're dead even...neck and neck...antennae to antennae.

The question is: Which one wins the race, and why?

You are so like my dad... why are maths people so annoying??? JUST GIVE ME THE ANSWER - PLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEE!!!!!!
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?

Yes you have made me laugh a lot too. But how do we know that Craig is only capable of jumping in big jumps... what if he does some small ones too sometimes (when he chooses.. so he doesn't overshoot the mark for example)??????

Why is the wind crying for mary? What has happened to her? and, more to the point, who is she? Do I know her?
