Friday the 13th

Any chance there will be tons of superstitious people and the parks will be less crowded on Friday the 13th in May? Or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

Don't think it will have much impact on the crowds. Of course, when we were there on Friday the 13th last August, so was Hurricane Charley...talk about bad luck!

I'll be there on the 13th of May (the last full day of my holiday) at EPCOT on the segway tour.

I not sure about superstitions but will be fastening my helmet tightly to make sure!

I'm flying into Orlando Friday the 13th on American Airlines and my seat on the plane is 13A. How's that for tempting fate? Really it was the closest seat I could get to the front of the plane and just over the wing, which is the area I wanted to be in. My plane lands at 9:43am and I'm planning to be in the MK for lunch.

Also flying on Friday the 13th (Northwest from DTW). Didn't quite have the "luck" you had with the seat assignment aubriee, but still hoping for the uneventfull trip. Although not usually the case with a 2 and 5 yo.

I did't even notice it was Friday the 13th when I was planning! I have all the other days of the vacation scheduled. Friday is our "free day" *read unplanned*. I wonder how it will turn out?

I tend to go back and forth between believing that 13 is my lucky number to believing that I am jinxed due to being born on the 13th (not in May).

This trip, itself, has may already be jinxed in some way (at least it is not turning out as originally intended), but I have managed to salvage the situation and cut my losses and plan to have a good time in WDW that weekend anyway.

I will be in the Magic Kingdom the morning of May 13th, and probably in Epcot that afternoon/evening.

My DS (youngest child) will turn 34 in two days, on the 13th. He has always considered 13 his lucky number, and was over the moon when his 13th birthday fell on Friday.

Well, it's looking to be a lucky day for me.

I couldn't get a Fantasmic! package for that night when I called last week. Today, I called, and got one at 5:50PM - a perfect time for us on Friday, the 13th. Even the CM mentioned it, hehe.
