Can someone fill me in. I tell you I have been away too long, and I feel like the world is passing me by. What are Friday returns and where do they come from?

Frequently, traders overbuy or change their minds on pins they have purchased and return them to Disney (Pin Traders, etc.). These returned pins are put away and brought out for resale every Friday morning.

Disney's pin return policy is as follows: If you have your original receipt of purchase, you can get a full refund or credit on your credit card. If you do not have the original receipt, you will only be able to exchange the pins for other pins or merchandise in the store. Pins must be on their original cards/packaging with price tag in tact.

I heard there is a new addendum to purchasing returned pins just put into place a DTP. Customers will only be able to purchase up to 5 LE pins at a time. Making it a bit more fair to others hoping for a pin find.

Hope this helps...Disneyboy

So does this mean that I could return my entire extra set of Conquer the World pins that a friend decided they did not want, since they are on the original cards, etc.? Does it matter as to how old the pins are as long as they are on original packaging?

From what I see being returned, you should have no problem returning the "I Conquered the World" pins. I have seen pins released long before that series returned and resold. Good luck and happy trading.

wow, I guess I am all set for pin money when I go to WDW in May. I have tons of September event pins to return. You know, all the ones that "everyone will want".
Get ready you Friday morning DTD lines, I am coming with pins!

Me, too, I am so glad I held on to all those receipts. :)

Wondering if I can return them anywhere or do they have to be returned at DPT? Since I have quite a few and several different receipts, I know this transaction will take some time and I don't want to hold up any lines.

The 5 LE thing is that on Fridays they put out all the pins that have been returned the previous week in the past there has been a free for all at DTP to get the best ones. Now they are keeping them behind the counter you get in line and you may pick 5 of the LEs that have been returned for purchase for each time you are in line.

I had no problem returning several pins at WDW last December. It sure was nice to see some credits on my credit card when I returned home :)!

I expect that all my credits will be very quickly used up, just like the ones I get on a slot machine, easy come-easy go. :)
