Friday of Memorial Day weekend

How bad is Friday of the Memorial Day weekend. We are cruising the Sunday-Thursday so Friday is our only day. We have a three year old so we need to do MK. IF we are there early are we going to be ok (re; Crowds)?

I was there last year for Memorial Day. It wasn't that bad. Memorial Day itself was pretty crowded, though.

I think if you are there when the park opens you should be able to do a lot.

We were at MGM on the Friday morning of Memorial Day last year and it wasn't too crowded. Then we went to MK late afternoon and evening and it was swamped but we wanted to see the parade and fireworks and that was the only day they were scheduled during our visit.

I think the morning would be ok but the crowds will build throughout the day.

That's the day we depart (at least it's a 6:00 PM flight)!

We left on the Saturday of the long weekend in 2001. The Friday was not bad at all. Still very moderate crowd wise-started to get a little busier later in the day.

Great. Thanks for the responses. I was hoping thatnthe Friday would be ok. We fly out of Saturday so as long as we're there early, we should be able to do alot. We are DW vetrans so we know what to see when.
