Friday night check-in at Pop

We will be checking into Pop Century on Fri 4/22.

Our plane lands at 7:40pm, so with the rental car P/U and a quick grocery run, I figure we will get to our resort, around 8:45-9:00.

How bad will it be? We have always checked in around noon on Sat, so obviously I know how long the lines can be. I think I waited 1 1/2 hours last time at CBR. I have never been to Pop, but imagine the lines are pretty long there too.

Will I have a shot at room preferences that late in the day? Should I go straight to the resort, and skip the grocery run. DH could go out after we check in, or maybe while I wait to check in. Will 20-30 minutes make that big of a difference?

The thing about Friday nights at Pop Century is that it's "Florida Resident Friday" -- all of the Florida residents come down and check in between 6-10pm.

The bad news is that yes, the check in line will be crowded. The good news is that Pop knows this, and staffs accordingly.
