Friday Kitty Post! While my little boycat says goodbye to his "maleness"

I took Meeko into to go "under the knife" today, poor little guy. He was a trooper, though, and everyone crowded around him like he was a superstar.

I'm a little worried though because the assistant who is watching him is answering through him in a little baby voice do you want to speak to your Mommy?? Noo?? You just having too much fun on those drugs aren't you, honey??? Another person falls victim to his wiles!

Funny thing, they decided he was ten months, ten pounds and ten ounces! We found him a few months ago and my son insists his Grandma sent him to us because we got him right after we lost her.

He has been a little blessing for all of us. Gotta go get him now. Hope he's still speaking to me!

I just brought him home and he looks fine. Had to peel him away from the "drugged" vet assistant! Now he has to stay in my office, separate from the other cats until he heals.. yuck!

Sweet little thing is still a little groggy but healthy.

He is such a beautiful cat! I was glad to know that he has a great home with you. I remember when our "baby" Gwenie (who is sitting next to me at the moment, while my other is on my lap with my laptop ) was fixed. They had her on her "kitty valium" and boy she was OUT like a light when we brought her home. I had picked her up and cuddled her for a short while. When I went to put her back into bed, I went to gently lower her head and instead of it slowly falling to the bed as normally it does when she is sleepy, it just went THUNK! I swore I had killed her Those kitty drugs are something else

I hope your Meeko (or should I say Big Boy!) is up and running around soon
