Fresh or Crystal Palace?

We are looking for a great breakfast buffet for our last morning at the World! We have never been to Crystal Palace or Fresh and I have heard both are very good. We have two little girls, but neither are big on Pooh characters. We are mostly looking for yummy food and a fun experience. I don't love that I'd have to pay to park for Fresh, but I'd do so if it was worth it. Any opinions on which is better?

Hi LNB,

Well one thing that might help your decision: you'll need to use up a day on your park pass to go to CP! I don't know if you were planning on going to the parks your last day, I guess it depends what time you're leaving.

We have annual passes, so fortunately that does not play into it! Good thinking though!

If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, I would suggest CP. I've only done lunch here but it is definately a more fun atmosphere then Fresh. That said, FRESH is our favorite breakfast place. Most of the breakfast items are fresh made, omlettes, french toast, pancakes, etc. This means that you have to wait while they are being made. We go late and have never had to wait in a line for the food, just the cooking time. If you have small children it may be hard to keep an eye on them while waiting for your food. The bakery items and dessert items if you go for brunch are out of this world. Very fresh and tasty!!! The selection of the baked goods or desserts are very good but the hot items are limited at FRESH. They do have good homemade sausage, potatoes, chicken or pork. I'm not very fond of the deli items but that is because they more mediterainian then I like. The fresh squeezed juice is also very good. The atmosphere is very nice but not what I would call fun. Either way I'm sure you will enjoy the food.

Where are you staying and what park do you want to do on your last day? There is no question the food is much better at Fresh but if you want to spend you last day at the MK it would be a lot easier to have your breakfast at the CP.

If you want to have your last breaksfast at Fresh try to plan to spend your last day at the Studios.

We have also enjoyed brunch timed meals at Cape May Buffet (Minnie, Goofy, and Chip in beach wear) and Boma as our "last" WDW meal.

Why the studios the last day with Fresh?

The Dolphin is a short walk or boat ride to the Studios. Unless I was staying in the EPCOT resort area I don't think I'd take the time to drive over to the Dolphin, pay for parking and then travel to the MK. I'd pick a restaurant in the MK or at least in a MK resort.
