"FRESH" Lunch ... Please Help

I am finalizing some ADR's today based on a new addition to our party. My DMIL is now joining us - and given her purely Mediterranean roots, I think she'd love FRESH at the Dolphin ...

BUT ...

It is genuinely hard to find reviews for this place. Can anyone help me with the LUNCH buffet in particular (I got some recent feedback on breakfast, but we're focused on getting lunch).

We have eaten at Fresh many times. The food is always really good. It never seems to be crowded. The breakfast buffet has many options and has been consistently good. My husband and I enjoyed lunch one visit. We were supposed to go to a Sunday brunch but they had changed their menu to breakfast and lunch. The lunch buffet was wonderful - with some of the best desserts I've ever had. My DH and DD22 are both picky eaters and enjoy it very much.

We tried Fresh spur of the moment a few years back. We went with another couple who are vegetarian. They asked to peek at the buffet to be sure they'd find good eats other than starch which was no problem. Next thing they knew the chef came out with a veg Stroganoff that was out of this world delicious. Even my DH the carnivore was willing to eat a full dish!

Their servings are tapas size. The cold antipasti is usually different each time but wow is everything always fresh and delicious!

What are your MIL's likes/dislikes? Might be easier to share experiences with more information.

Do you have to call the Dolphin directly to make a reservation or can you do it through Disney Dining?
