My DH and I are leaving in the morning for a quick free dining trip to POFQ. We won't have a car this time to make a Wal-Mart run, and are concerned about meeting his fresh fruit fix. Is there any available at the resorts or parks? He usually eats a few apples and oranges each day. TIA for any info!

You should be able to find fruit, no problem. I know they sell it at the food courts at the resorts. In the Magic Kingdom they do have at least one fruit cart that I can recall over in FrontieerLand.

They have fresh fruit at both the resorts and the parks! I have had apples, bananas, grapes and pineapple. It won't be Walmart prices though.

We had a fourteen month old that started eating fresh fruit a few weeks ago, znd he was voracious for it last week. We managed to find it everywhere.

At MK, there's a little "market" between Columbia Harbor House and Hall of Presidents; at DHS the Fairfax Fare area has lots of fruit stands; in AK there's a fruit market in the Africa section. In Epcot, you might have to go into the land for a large selection, down at Sunshine Seasons.

These are all large fruit markets with plenty of choices. In addition, many quick service restaurants have grapes, or fruit cups.

You will never be more than a few minutes away from a nice piece of fruit. No worries there!

You could have enough fresh fruit to last your entire stay delivered to your room from gardengrocer.com

You have to have a $40 minimum order but if you add in some drinks and snacks to the fruit you can easily come up with a $40 order for a week trip. They charge $12 delivery fee, and even though they don't list it on their list of items, you can even get beer and wine from them. You just send them a note at the end of the ordering process for what you would like and how much you would like and they contact you about pricing and finalize your order. Not that I know from personal experience. I don't even drink, but from other ppl who have used them in the past and folks on here talking about it.

If he eats 2 or 3 Apples a day and 2 or 3 Oranges a day and you were going to be there 7 days, I would order about 10 pounds of each.

But you can always buy it in the food court for twice the average price. I think it may be $1 per piece of fruit.

They sell fruit in the food courts and they count as a snack. Apples, banannas, grapes, etc. But if he needs a lot then pack some oranges and apples in your bag. I buy freeze dried fruit at the store to keep at work.

Also, at Flame Tree BBQ in AK they have a fruit plate for about $7 or a QS credit. I got it last time we were there for lunch and it was good. I think the fruit varies.
